Filter Seal

After installing my DNA filter and modifying the stock lid, I got to looking and decided there really isn't a hell of a good seal with the fiter and the top of the air box cover. Anyway, you can't notice it with the stock lid on but when you drill a the hole or install the DP lid you can see that where the stock intake track meets the filter there isn't much of a seal at all. I can't believe with all the vibration that that little bit of rubber on the DNA or foam on the stock filter is going to keep shit from getting into the air box unfiltered.

Anyway, nothing can really be done with it so I guess we'll find out in about 20K when she's using a quart of oil to a tank of fuel.

Out!

Crap, a quart of oil every 90 miles is high even by BMW standards. Yikes!
