Horn hack ECU II

Service tech at Scottsdale caused another ECU hack while running on the dyno. He was getting a ribbing from the other techs beeping the horn until it quit/restart. Suddenly there is merit with this silliness. They have another instrument module on order, for it went blank when the glitch hit, then everything comes back online. They did smooth out the on/off throttle a bit. Anyone else try this? I don't think mine is the only one that will do this.

When I brought mine in to have the trip meter fix done they killed my instrument cluster. It went completely blank and the backlight just flashed off and on. They were not sure what happened. The good news it took only three days for them to get a new one, so you should have it soon and it will again have 0 miles on it........

They flashed the trip meter fix, every thing works as normal. After sleeping on the issue, they didn't watch the voltage as I suggested, it ran on the dyno. I wonder what the data logger would read. I think that a new instrument module is a knee jerk fix, I wonder if the shop demo will fail too, if tested?
