300 vs. 1

Well I went on an organized ride this past Sunday which was sponsered by Taser and EuroMotorsports of Scottsdale. It was to raise money for families of fallen Officers. Anyway I'm not big into the (Huge) group ride thing but figured I would do this one since it was sponsered by the delaership I patronize and it was for a good cause. I only had time to take half the ride. I was hoping there was going to be a few more non-Harley Bikes at the event since it was co-sponsered by a BMW/Ducati/MV Augusta/Triumph shop. Well I can say that it was a Harley dominated ride. I think with my HM there were 4 Ducatis total, maybe 6 or 7 BMW's, (1) MV Agusta and I saw one Triumph Bonny. Throw in a handful of 20-30 Jap Bikes and around 200-300 Harleys and you had the event. Anyway of course birds of a feather and all, I ended up hanging with a couple of the Ducs and the guy on the MV. We waited for the last group and took up the back of the pack. I followed the MV F4 for a while and man I have to say that it was the best sounding four I have ever heard. Sounded like it was really pissed off. He had the Titanium exhaust on it and he told me that he sent it to Europe to have it gutted. Sounded good. The HM got a lot of attention from all riders, lots of questions and even got the Harley guys/gals attention when I blipped the throttle.... Anyway the Ducati's and the MV were nice specimans so I snapped a few photos of the day that I thought I would share.

Even amongst all the Harelys the HM stood out....

All in all a nice day to ride. I put around 125 miles on......

I'm really bummed you didn't take a close up of a Harley Davidson. I hear they're rare, that's why they cost so much!

LOL! A buddy of mine bought a new Harley last year. We were at a local bike night and I told him I wanted to see his new bike. We walked down the line of bikes (there were about 3000 estimated bikes there) and he said here it is. I looked it over and yep it was a Harley. He said to go ahead and throw a leg over it and take it for a ride if I wanted. Just before I sat down he yelled "WAIT!!! That's not my bike! Mine has different exhaust tips on it!" I couldn't stop laughing.

I seen about 250-300 bikes pulling out of Wild Horse West bar and grill today around 12 pm. Not sure of the appeal of an event like that, it looked painful when they were all trying to get on the road at the same time.

I passed a couple of groups on New River Road. I was riding a few wheelies. Got a couple thumbs up from the Harley riders. I wish I would of had the Zards on, I could have matched them note for note!

Out!
