The Windshield
Get your flamethrowers out and ready..... I finally rec'd my windshield and managed to get out for a couple hour ride between the snow and hail showers this Sat.
FWIW I think it really improves the ridability of a great bike, as you all know as soon as you get up to 50+ MPH you start to feel the drag of the wind on your chest etc. etc. With this little unit, the drag for the most part goes away and I find the ride much more comfortable. The bike feels faster also, maybe the aero's are improved but in any case, don't be afraid to try it.
Any other comments welcome...does this thing work for you or not....?
Bob

How much was the windshield? And is it easy enough to put on and take off, for different rides?

Dude, it was so easy even I didn't need help! Five minutes or less to get it on and off.

Windshield is around $110. It's small, but actually works quite well. It takes a lot of the wind blast off my chest at higher speeds and has the added benefit of flowing air right into the lower vent of my Schuberth S1 helmet, which is great for riding in hot Houston. I like the way it looks too; it kind of completes the look of the instrument housing, which I think is the only weak point of the HM styling.

I installed one last Friday as I grew tired of waiting for ZG's windscreen. I still don't like the looks of the DP windscreen, but it does really help relieve the wind. I still hope to install a ZG windscreen when they are available.
Cheers
