How Did You Run-In / Break In your HM?
Did you follow the manual or went for the hard break in.
I'm interested in knowing who did the Hard Break In method and would ask, if possible for the rider to share his findings as I have only done hard break in for another Vtwin, (Aprilia Tuono) where as all my Jap bikes were hard broken in.
If possible please keep to the topic and not give opinions of the 2 break ins differences. Thanks guys

In my opinion, polls are always based upon others opinions, so my opinion is somewhere in the middle, since that was not an option I did not vote, instead I decided just to give my opinion, if I was you I would just do what your comfortable with and not worry about others opinions, I think you will find with today's equipment it probably will not fall apart regardless of the method used to break it in, or what the majority of the opinions are!
Out!

I'm with Axe, I didn't do either of those two methods. Kind of a combo break-in method. Kind of easy for the first 100 miles (varied RPM's obviously) then steadily increased thrashing for the next 200 miles and now I just ride it however I want.......

I didn't vote either. I always break in my bikes exactly as I intend to ride them (basically I just ride the damn thing and don't lose any sleep over it). The only thing I worry about during break-in is making sure I vary the RPMs for the first several hundred miles.

I bought the demo and it had 850 miles when I got it, so no break in required
I figured lots of short demo rides with hard accelerations would be pretty good break in for the bike. I did inspect the rear tire before taking delivery! It actually still had plenty of tread. I think I remember posting here about some guy wearing out his rear tire in only 1,000 miles, so my bike didn't get flogged as hard as his!
