Rear Rack and tail bag

Hi all,
just got the rack and bag.
I just discovered that a net can also be used with this set up but oh well maybe next time.
Now the fun stuff, the bag is very nice and looks like it won't blow off unlike the tank bag.
The only problem is how to fit the rack without instructions
I know I'll figure it out but I guess I don't want to take off more of the bike than I have to.
any suggestions.
jeff

Pretty simple really. I have instructions that I can scan tomorrow and post.

Cheers

You do have to take alot more off the bike than I would have thought. The LED tail light bolts up to the tail rack & that red piece and the black piece its attached to are no longer used.

What has me totally confused is how the straps are supposed to work. I got it on but not sure its right.

I do like the looks though.

One good tip I can suggest, which i saw on a mates bike, is to get the bracket that relocates the signals(from the full system kit) and use it with the rack. You may as well since you relocate the brakelight with the rack, why not get the signals out of the way as well.

Is that bracket available separately? If so, how much? It's definitely a cleaner look than having the signals below the exhausts...

Not sure of a price or part number. I can ask. If your dealer is worth the price of gas he should either be able to find it or extract it from DNA. I will ask my buddy though.

Thanks. That looks like what I finally came up with. I've been dealing with my BMW more the last couple of weeks as I'm going on a ride to Texas towards the end of the month. Just put on a HID light, fog lights, GPS & radar detector. Get new tires & 6K mile service tomorrow. Then I should be all set. I took it out for a shakedown ride tonight & ended up in . . . Simi Valley.

Thanks, for the 'how to' instructions.
I just sent the rack to be powder coated in a flat matt black to match the bike.
