Dealer Allotments - Ducati.ms

Hey Guys
I'm #eight on my dealer's list for a Hypermotard. He says he is getting eight bikes total. Since I'm sure all eight will not arrive at the end of June what do you think? Am I looking at September? Has anybodys dealer indicated how many bikes they will get at one time?

My 1100S is going to be only unit sold in the country for awhile, another one is Demo ride..

After the glowing reviews, i bet getting one later this year will be mission impossible.

If your guy is getting 8 and your #8. I would say your chances are excellent because I would imagine that some of those guys ahead of you will change their minds. Good luck!

I'm #2 and my dealer ordered 3 "S" and 3 standard.

I'm #5 on my dealers list, and last I heard, they had 20+ on order. I'm after the S, and they won't tell me anything about when to expect my bike! I do know that they will have a bike in by the end of the month, but they say that they have no idea if it'll be the only one. I'm starting to order parts, as they become available, and hopfully I don't have a bunch of parts a year before I get my bike!

The problem is, a dealer can order 20 bikes, and Ducati can allocate 7.

Of course, these numbers are only used as an example and are not meant to imply anything about what your dealer is telling you.

My dealer's order for 1098s (of all varieties) ended up being trimmed quite a bit in their allocation.

Talked to my dealer yesterday, there are no specific allocations given to him yet. The only thing he knows for sure is that he will have one bike for the release party at his store. He told me he'd let me know as the specifics are released. I'm number 2 for an S.

I just talked to my local dealer about the Hypermotard and he said that Ducati is only delivering units that are presold. Once all presold units are delivered then Ducati will start delivering the "alotments" He said presold "S" models end of this month, base models next month, then alotments will come from second run production later towards fall. So I guess if you want one now you better get your deposit down.

BTW, this is my first post so hello to everone.
