Who Wants one then?

Well, who does.

Damn, ment to add 'Undecided until I try one'
(which is me, then I'd sell the multi, maybe)

I've have one on order and I'm just going for it. I have 2 KTM motards and love them so I figure this bike has to be even better. Was just about to pull the trigger on a superduke but decided to go with the HM.

It appeals a LOT but... Ducati's undoubtedly going to redesign the 2-valve motor for lighter weight, more performance etc, some time soon. I'm waiting until then.

Wish I had some inside dirt to share but that's somewhere between "tongue-in-cheek" and "wishful thinking".

Obviously, the 2-valve motor contributes tremendously to sales and generally speaking, low weight is a big factor both for the manufacturers and buyers. Certainly the reduced weight of the 1098 plays no small part in its favorable reception in the marketplace. Got to imagine weight-reduction will be a priority for the other motor/lines as well.

Stop waiting and Live for now

And if you were to buy the 2v for performance etc, your buying the wrong bike anyway

Oh, believe me. I am. I've got an MV Agusta.

The ONLY thing in the Ducati lineup that interests me in the slightest is the HM and only because there are so many dirt roads around here. But given the weight of the HM it doesn't work for me at this point.

To banter with some old friends and see what the newbies are up to.

The "No, *mine* is the last of the hand-built Ducatis" posts always make visiting worthwhile.

Seriously, I bought my first Duc in the 70's. If they come up with something I like I'll buy another.

Missing a few choices in the vote

I am pretty convinced that the Ducati Hypermotard will bring a completely new kind of customers who never owned a Ducati or any Superbike for that matter... How about a check box for those guys, and for the guys coming from dirt bikes, dual sports or supermoto
