Getting better all the time!
(Side note: When he mentions the pricing, I assume he's talking Euros, not British Pounds, right?)

That's what I would have thought, but when you convert it...
Base model = 7,995 GBP = $15,823
S model = 8,995 GBP = $17,802
This is "affordable"??? He kept going on about what a great deal the HM is, but if those are the prices in British pounds, it seems like an awful lot.
On the other hand, if he's talking Euros...
Base = 7995 EUR = $10,776
S = 8995 EUR = $12,123
That would make a lot more sense as far as the bikes being affordable...

The price in Germany in Euro is:
1100 = € 11,500 (approx. 7,837 GBP, approx. 15,505 $)
1100S = € 13,500 (approx. 9,200 GBP, approx. 18,202 $)
But you have to keep in mind that
a) VAT is different in UK and USA
b) Ducati generally has different pricing in different countries
On the one hand you can't really call that "affordable". On the other hand it's the same price as Multistrada - afaik.

I was hoping someone can save the video and post it somewhere that you don't have to register to view. i.e MCN require some pretty specific details to register and view the video. I'm not willing to provide my life history just to see the video.

Here's a link I just got from my Ducati dealer in Adelaide when I enquired about pricing and availability of the Hypermotard (late July and AUD$18995 for the base model, AUD$21995 for the "S" model).
Same vid with Xaus hooning it up but no registration required:
