I think the Ducati HM will be popular enough
for the after market exhausts, Leo Vinci and others
to jump in. After talking to Peter, I will probably match
his wait & see position on exhaust, and only get a nice red
clutch plate, and clutch cover for now

Another thing to consider is that I would love to find a full
system that finishes under the seat to keep the initial
look and the superb carbon fiber side panels on the back.
The Termignoni full system tiny side panels don't look great
I don't think you'll have to wait very long. My Mk.I eyeball tells me the Hyper exhaust is going to be very close to the exhaust on the MS1100. If there is any difference it is going to be in the connector pipe between the canisters and the header, and its going to be small. Have a look at this Arrow system for the MS and this sideshot of the Hyper.

Get the full Arrow system, drop in a Ferrari EPROM or a Power Commander, and you'll still have enough cash left over a set of Pirelli's.

From what I can tell from looking at the stock muffler and the picture of the Termi slip-on, most of the exhaust will exit from the right muffler. There probably is a baffle plate to direct some of the flow into a 90 degree turn into the left muffler. Doesn't look like an ideal setup for exhaust flow and maybe this is why we've seen the hp rating go down from 95 to 90 compared to the MS1100, which has the box-type exhaust and perhaps more volume and better distribution of flow.

A good, efficient 2-1-2 under seat exhaust system is not going to be inexpensive, regardless of brand.

I like the Termi racing exhaust setup. Its simple and light and it may prove to be the least expensive/most efficient option for a full system with its single muff can, but we'll see.

Ok then, we will sell the carbon fiber side panels on e-bay to those who did not pick the "S" version
This will be a down payment on the exhaust

I am new to this forum since the HM downpayment
I don't know who are the moderators and the administrator,
but I think we need a dedicated thread of the exhaust mods
since that will be a "hot" topic on the HM, and move all
these discussions started in several threads out there.

Clutch mod talks could be another hot thread as well,
I assume that slipper clutches, clutch plates, and clutch covers
will be another classic mod on the HMs.
