They might keep a few for testing/demos and ongoing development.

I can...
Many of you have asked us impressions on the Dimensions for the Hypermotard, have thought therefore to photograph some "friends in scale" who are themselves lend to you to models for the occasion. In order: Ilaria Seven (new solar purchase of the office prints Ducati) 1 meter and 65, Mark Comellini (In Motion) 1 meter and 73, Tawny Mastroianni (pillar office prints Ducati) 1 meter and 79, Giovanni Di Pillo (voice of the Superbike) 1 meter and 82, in order to finish with Aldo Dancers (Superwheels director) 1 meter and 87. I from mine 1 meter and 80 only say to you that I have not never tried one motion 1,100 therefore snella and manageable.

I just had Renazco Racing build me a new seat for my Husky 610 SM
so I checked again I am 5 - 10 tall with 32 inches inseam.
Here are a few extra shots that will give you a good idea.
The bike definitely feels small (especially compared to my 610)
and compact (e.g. the tank). I really enjoyed the forward position.
In fact the seat goes so wide at the back, it is really designed
for a passenger, there is no way to slide back. I wish the bike would have been a bit taller...
Christian.

EXCELLENT JOB BHD !
By the way, those pictures are taken on the accessory laden bike which includes the "racing seat". It appears to be cut out a bit in the front, even though it isn't being marketed as a lower seat, it may serve as such.
From the Ducti.com accessory page:
Racing seat with a special profile, designed for a more forward riding stance, that results in improved handling and control, like in the racing supermotard bikes. The padding and the special fabric used ensure high comfort level and prevent rider from sliding under braking or when tackling even the most demanding turns.

In Christian's 4th photo above, check out the look on the face of the guy face wearing the Yamaha jacket.
I bet he's thinking the same thing that Rossi was thinking in China, just without a drink in hand.
