Desmoblog -- Dates
New addition (finally) to the Desmoblog. It's not translated yet, but I believe it gives the delivery dates for the Hypermotard.
Everything I have seen previously has said that the S will be first, but I couldn't make that out here.
Any fluent translaters ?
Europe End of May
USA & Australia July

loosely translated by Babel Fish
it effectively looks like July for US
I know that Honda Peninsula Ducati of Sunnyvale received about 15 HM orders so far, I am the #3 on the S version that I ordered at the end of last year...
Here is the translation by http://babel.altavista.com/
C$r-with regard to the comment of Sberna on the times of the Hypermotard, here the answers:
I confirm the times already communicates time makes in post "the Hypermotard - modernization to you", that they are following. For Italy:
Beginning of production: 17 you open them (100 bikes produced to you open them)
Full Production: from May in ahead (1000 bikes produced to May)
Motion near the concessionaires in Italy: end of May (some will be able to receive their bike before one or two weeks)
Open week 26 May - 2 june.
European deliveries by the end of May;
USA in July,
Australia by the end of July.
I must be complimented with Sberna for the assiduousness in telephoning to all the concessionaires and with the same concessionaires who have given corrected answers, with optimistic Chiavari and Milan, and the others that confirm the second half of May.
We look at and attention soon! In the next one post I will announce the two fortunate frequent visitors of the Desmoblog who will come invite to you to try the Hypermotard during the launch print in Sardinia 7-8-9 May.

Wow. No wonder they call it "babelfish". (Translated, that means "spoken like a babbling fish")
I think I'll use this as my new signature:
"I must be complimented with Sberna for the assiduousness in telephoning to all the concessionaires and with the same concessionaires who have given corrected answers, with optimistic Chiavari and Milan, and the others that confirm the second half of May."

I know it is funny, I use it as a "decoding device" to figure out what's going on It's easier than spending years learning Italian... although most of the Italian is in the hand gestures, not what they say... or write...
see TV was a great success compared to radio in Italy
Phone is useless in Italy but Video phone is coming, so they will be able to have a full convesation
BTW, I am dual citizen French and American so I can read what's left over from Babel Fish

I used babelfish too; that's how I had the information I gave.
It's amazing to see the babelfish version, then the Ducati translated version later.

"Official" translation from Desmoblog:
Regarding Sberna's comment about the times of the Hypermotard, here is the response: I'm confirming the times I communicated a few days ago in the post "Hypermotard aggiornamento." They are the following:
For Italy:
Initial production: April 17 (100 bikes produced in April)
Scheduled producation: from May forward (1000 bikes produced in May)
Arriving at the dealers: end of May (some dealers will be able to receive the bikes one or two weeks early) The opening week is May 26 to June 2.
For Europe, the end of May; for the USA July; for Australia the end of July.
I have to congratulate Sberna for the persistence of telephoning every dealer, the dealers for giving me the correct information, the optimists Chiavari and Milano, and all the other people that confim the second half of May.
See you soon and pay attention: on the next post I will post the two lucky winners that will be invited to test the Hypermotard during the press launch in Sardenia May 7-8-9.

Personally, I made the choice, last May, to put my deposit down on a HM at Ducati Seattle.
I'd rather light money on fire than spend it at Pen Honda Ducati.....
At least Nichols is around for service.

Sounds like PHD might have did you wrong at some point. Care to elaborate? I've never dealt with them till I put a deposit on a HM-S there. I hope things work out OK.
