Alternative to the HM?

I think that the updated colors and graphics on the 950 R really improve the overall look of this bike.
Anyone cares to comment on the 950R? Has anyone ridden one?

when KTM had demo day a few months ago I test rode several of thier dirt bikes, but all they would let me do was sit on the two street bikes. just sitting on them I liked the super duke better than the SM.

considering that my last Ducati was a 748 / 853...I've had a water-cooled Ducati, jackass.

there are less "issues" with the air-cooled ones.

Besides, the air-cooled bikes are simpler and cleaner-looking. Nothing detracts from the looks of a Monster like a radiator and associated plumbing.

C'mon, Buck. Tell me you don't consider replacing a series of ruptured coolant overflow tanks part of the *charm*

I know. But the picture above is a KTM. As far as I know, no Ducati parts are inside.

That's because there are less "horsepower". What has this got to do with KTM?

Agreed. But the picture above is not a Monster, it's a KTM.

Local KTM dealer said they are not bringing the R to the US...but MotorCyclist of this months states a US price of $13999 plus the version they rode has DOT markers on the fork protectors and the rear plate area..so it's definitely a US version.

All true. And worse yet, it looks like a KTM...
