Order placed.
I placed the order for my Hypermotard S, today at ProItalia in Glendale, California.
Samson was very helpful at that dealership and said that I should be looking at July/August for the delivery of the bike.
I was suprised to hear there were already 30 customers at that dealership alone that have reserved the HM, the earliest one placed a year and half ago...
Most are S, couple only went for the standard.
ProItalia said they will be getting 80% of the bikes in S trim.
Long wait, but looking forward.

Yeah, you're a "Johnny-come-lately". I placed my order last April or May. Welcome. Maybe we could get t-shirts, or something, from Ducati?

Hey would any of you look at buying the base model and getting some BST carbons for it? Would you ever run carbon wheels on dirt roads?
