My dealer said April hopefully first bikes should arrive.

The dealers around here (Northern VA) say the same thing. I'm contemplating putting a deposit on one, but I'd really like to see one first. I'm hoping they'll have one on display when the Cycle World show comes to DC in January, but I hear they haven't had one at the recent shows

Mr. Bevel was kind enough to call me when he was standing next to one at the Long Beach show.

I'll be seeing it this weekend at the San Mateo show. Can't wait. Of course...they won't let us sit on it. Maybe if I have a note from my dealer, on letterhead, stating that I have a deposit on one; that will be good enough to get them to let me perch on one.......

not If it fits...just to determine if any surgery is necessary so that I fit on the bike when I pick it up.

Saw it at the show, way more impressed with it than the 1098. Why they would let people sit on the 1098 and not the Hypermotard, I don't know.

My Dealer here (who gets his first 1098S this week) says that there is still not date for the HM, and isn't taking deposits yet. I think it'll be 2008.

Federico Menoli annoucned in Italy on 12/21 that the delivery will start for Europe in May and in the Usa in June. Bike will be just as presented EICMA in Milano and there are no plans for a small engine version.
