2-2 Termi DB Killers....
Hey guys, I've just picked up my (new to me) Hyper 1100. It has a full Termi 2-2 system & sounds friggin awesome!!...only thing is, I may need to stick some DB killers in from time to time Does anyone have any DB killers lying around from the same system that they want to get rid of or donate
If so please let me know, thanks guys.
Cheers Rob

I hear ya Willie, but restraint on this baby does not come easy!!!!...lol...& besides, the cops in these little dinky towns like I'm in, seriously lack a sense of humor....
I may also rather enjoy the DBs on longer trips....we'll see
cheers Rob

I understand where you're coming from....When I leave out 3-4am in the morning I would like to be a little quieter as to not wake up anybody on my street or in my household. Unfortunately, my Termi 2-1 was missing the db killer when the dealership received it, but I just try to put along until I'm atleast off of my road

Hey Rob! Glad you are enjoy er. I've heard those DB killers will build heat and mess up the CF heat shield wraps. No experience, but what I was told.

I have heard that as well on the 2-1 kit and judging by the way the rivet clamps don't go all the way around the can, I would say it is possible for the extra pressure to easily warp the CF.

Hey Andy, nice to hear from you bud...hope you're keeping well & that your plans for the track bike are coming along.
The Hyper is running great man!!..I have already been adding some goodies...you know how it goes...lol (Carbon hugger, carbon front fender, open clutch cover, pressure plate, frame plugs...& some other little things....the list seems never ending...lol.)
I did get some db killers & they do quiten her down a bit (not that I want it...but trying to do the respectful resident/neighbor thing). I have heard that cutting the internal ends off the db killers helps to keep the heat build up down a bit.
I need to post some more pics up in the gallery section....there are some already there with the clutch set-up.
k man, well take it easy bud...& do keep in touch.
Cheers Rob
