termi question

So I bought a 2008 1100s with some after market goodies already on it. One of the goodies is a full termi system (not carbon) 2into 1. The can does not have the termi sticker on it and there is no bracket around the can to hold it to the frame. It seems secure enough. Is this how the 2008 termi exhaust is? In all of the google pics i see, there is a bracket around the can that attaches to the sub frame.

Sounds like you are missing the bracket. Mine is carbon but I dont see where that would matter for bracing.

Yea, thats what I'm thinking northsouth. Went to the dealer today and they think it should be there. Its interesting but the 2 into 1 kit picture they had also had carbon fiber covers for the subframe, which mine do not have. Not sure what kit the previous owner had on there.

A helmet, small tank bag or jacket, gloves inside helmet. Plus it pops off with a key in about a second.

Too much "good vibrations" without the bracket, I would fit one.

The dealer ordered the termi kit for me that included the bracket. They were pretty cool about it and covered the cost. The kit had a lot of bolts, washers, nuts, springs, the bracket I needed, and the exhaust whatever you call that attaches the pipes to the cylinder. I see why the previous owner didn’t have this attached; I had to loosen everything to get it to fit. Now it is nice and tight.

There were no instructions with the kit, so I’m not 100% on the parts I used. If anyone is bored and wants to take pictures of how the undertail bracket hooks to the rear subframe and the can I would be much obliged.
