Andreani 796 fork opinion needed.
I know there are a lot of threads in the forum talking about fixes of HM796's fork. I incline to go for an pair of aftermarket one with full adjustment rather than takingoff the stock forks, d-assembling and re-assembling them, , put back, then repeat when settings oil, spring, gap are not working as desired. I am not that handed anyway.
I got to know andreani group makes the fork for HM796. The price is not too expensive. Does anyone have them installed? Can you tell me your experience about this forks? Worth the money? Or just not what we expect it to fix?

My Öhlins tech said the Andreani forks were some older generation motocross forks that were adapted to a street purpose. He didn´t have too many positive remarks about it, but then he said it was not so bad but in the end not exactly the best bang for the buck.
Why not get a 25mm SBK Öhlins cartridge, Mupo cartridge, whatever for the same money of a whole fork assembly? The chance of making money off your stock 796 forks is quite small as no one wants those I think.

Andreani cartridges were $700, Ohlins are double. If you're that good your sponsor would be buying them and it wouldn't matter, I was just looking for something a little better than stock with some adjustability.

I have the MARZOCCHI race forks with the Andeani internals on my 796. There is another member here from Florida who does too.

When I ask David from FastBikeIndustries.com for the better fork for HM 796. He gave me this photo. Same as the Andreani one. What exactly you have,Seven9Six? Can you show us some photos and specs?

I bought them from Dave at FASTBIKE...so they are the same as on mine.
They have the compression on the right side...rebound on the left side....and spring preload on both sides. They come with an 88 spring in both sides. Perfect for a 170 pound rider. You can get them with springs for your weight at no extra charge. Don't order in August. All of Italy is closed the whole month. Took about 2 weeks to get mine.
