Trying to get more top end on my 796 . Acceleration kinda dies out to soon for my taste.
. Getting alot of different opinions as to how. So now I'm bringing it to the forum table.

Are the hyper puks available on 796 ? Couldn't find any online except for 1100. Also, would a full termi exhaust or even LV cat delete with termi slip ons and pc5 give me some top end ?

DUCSHOP stacks for what seems like a fraction of the cost of the hyper puk stuff.
Or... And I say this to every 796 owner before they purchase... You're always going to want more power, so just sell the 796 now before yo spend money modding it, and buy a used 1100... Just sayin'... In the end you'll wish you had.

Question is, ow much will it cost go get that little bit out when you tally up everything vs an 1100. Anyway, totally understand... Good luck with your engine mods

I see you're in VA. Call Redline (757) 989-5000 (ask for Dave/Jon/Jason) for advice. They will do all the mods for you as well. IMO, a cat delete, Termi cans, opened airbox, and a Redline ECU reflash to account for the air and raise the redline will wake it up for you.

The real question is "How much do you want to spend?"
Drilling the airbox and decat will be your cheapest options to start out with.
