Luggage solution for Hyper

After loosing all hope for someone to come up with hard bags for the hyper I decided to settle for Trax Top case.
Had to get Hyper rear luggage rack and the universal SW Motech adaptor plate.
I did not use the hardware the mounting hardware that comes with the plate. I had to find different way to do it. I used Nylon spacers stainless steel washers and stainless locking nuts. I used the longer bolts that come with the adaptor plate kit.

Cracked Rack

Read thru this thread. You may want to beef up the rack before it breaks

Not sure what you mean. The bolts are the original bolts that came with the kit, the nuts are stainless and stronger than original threaded brakets that came with the kit, the washers and nylon spacers are beefier than supplied. The modes I made is to make it fit properly and actually make it stronger. The set up I used on the hyper is better and stronger than the standard set up on my tiger 800. Time will tell. I ride all year around, if it breaks I'll let you know

I don't think anyone has any issues with the bolts. It looks like that cheap cast aluminum rack is the problem. You could bolt it down with titanium, but it's still going to fall off when that tongue breaks...

Maybe I'm misunderstanding this part..

Here's what I came up with. Very sturdy and cost less than 10 bucks. 1 of the pics are a little blurry, but you get the idea.
