that's dirt cheap! The bends don't look that swell but for $130, I'd doubt you'll notice the difference.

It is made in china. The bends look a little iffy, but the welds are done well, looks like by robot or jig machine though, which means no real quality control as to how deep the weld penetrates the metals, not a like a human doing it and watching for metal discoloration at the minimum. The Mufflers look really nice but in the pictures you can see gaps between the carbon and the end cap which can make for funny whistles and noises. And if it's just carbon for the shell no metal liner they will break down and burn through in a year or two. They are also riveted at both ends so repacking it with packing will be work if they are even packed in the first place. they are very affordable tho and a set of their mufflers may become the base for a custom exhaust I've thinking of doing. to see how cheap I can build A 2-2 that looks and sounds good for my hyper.got lots of diameters and lengths of exhaust pipe and access to a bender. Hmmmmm..

Wink

Tried to find a couple pics of mine but these really don't show the area that looks like a non mandrel (kinked) bend on the ebay dealie. Like our AK friend says the welding looks good but may not be full pen and will crack with the vibes or our beloved twin.

Yes it is. Fitment was perfect and it even allowed me to rotate the mid pipe so it aligns with subframe better.

I decided to go for a different route. Removed the cat assembly and brought it to a local welder. He's going to cut it open, remove the honycomb inside the cat and weld things back up. Should cost me about 45 euros.
