To HM796 owners with LV Cat Delete
Is it true that the ECU needs to be remapped when installing the LV Cat delete on the HM796 stock exhaust?
Interested to hear what the issues might be. I remember seeing an online vendor on teh interwebs that offered the remap option when buying the LV cat delete for an fee.
Now I can't remember what shop it was.
Thanks

Ah yes, it's Motowheels
Has anyone used their $100 ECU remapping for the LV Cat delete?

Runs a little more lean than stock. Some decel pop. My engine didnt run hotter due to lean condition cause the heater(cat) was gone. You dont NEED to do anything but....
DP ecu or reflash will make it run better

I bought the set up, But the LV de-cat was back ordered so I have only gotten the ECU installed. I know I have an 1100 but the service and flash is top notch.

Just buy a dp ecu. It will pop and stall sometimes without a flash or the dp ecu. Mine did.

Can you buy the DP ECU by itself?
I thought it usually comes with an exhaust kit. How else do you know what mapping it has in it?
