License Plate Modification/Relocation
So after posting my Hooligan transformation I decide I actually wasn't finished, probably never will be. However, after much research, measuring, cutting, tweaking, trying, ect. this is what I ended up with for the relocation of my license plate.
I basically used the DP license plate bracket and cut it with a dremel tool, added two holes to it, then mounted the plate holder and the license plate light to the lip on my integrated taillight and tucked away the excess wire. i had to shave a little material off the tips of the plexi glass under tail as well but you can't see it once its mounted and the carbon pieces are mounted. I think she turned out pretty good. THe best part is i don't have to worry about my tire hitting my plate when riding aggressively, and the way the carbon tail pieces match up to the license light almost look factory. Now if i can just come up with a name for this ol' girl....

You should have tilted the plate on more of an angle. Too much wind resistance running it vertical like that!
Too easy for cops to spot it too!

Those pictures I took yesterday, and all last night I pushed up on the backside of the plate with a long screwdriver and chalked the handle to the rear tire and its got a little better angle now, can't have too much wind resistance now!

wind resistance... lol... it'll fold up befor it slow you down. I went with this option....
Bike is on the lift for the winter build up. Can't wait till summer, stacks and pods,PcV with autotune and lcd200, lightened flywheel, lightened aftermarket pressureplate. Custom exhaust by me. (hope its not too loud).. have had my plate here for a summer and a half no issues thus far.

Id get a ticket for that down here in FL in a heartbeat...Not sure why mounting it down there is not legal. That law pissed more chopper guys off than anyone!

I put mine there also until I can get a rear huger set up. I got a ticket yesterday for "accidentally" bringing the front wheel off the ground twice and the officer said nothing about the placement. So I guess it's ok in Mississippi.

Because you can't view it from the rear right and it's more difficult to read. We have the same law here, it sucks. It has to be centered above the rear wheel and can only have a 15 degree deflection inwards or 30 degree out, and our plates are really big compared to yours.

Man that sux our law reads "plate must be visible and readable 35' from the rear of the bike"! it also mentions a plate light but in the summer here in alaska it's daylight 21 hours a day ish so I'm normally riding in daylight. I figure if I get pulled for it I'll just suck it up and take the ticket.
