Hyper EVO SP to Hooligan EVO SP Transformation
So after owning the Hyper since April of last year, Ive been buying bits and pieces in between my military deployments and have finally finished my project to transform the Hyper to a Hooligan. I must say this forum has been a wealth of knowledge to help me get this bike just the way I wanted. Here is a list of my mods:
TPO Beast Velocity stacks/intake
Termignoni 2-1 Exhaust (Had it ceramic coated)
EVR Open clutch cover/pressure plate/springs/caps
Driven Carbon fiber high rise bars
EVO tech Oil cooler guard
Rizoma Levers, Spy R mirrors, Grips, Oil fill cap, Brake reservoirs and mounts
STM 30MM Clutch Slave
Ducati Performance Comfort seat, Carbon tank overlay, ECU
SuperSprox 15T 43T Sprockets/520 Conversion kit
Marchicini Quick release Fuel Cap
Integrated smoked Tail light
Speedymoto Frame sliders and axel sliders
Powder coated front fender brackets
Tech Spec tank grip pads
Now Before and after pics...

Bars are great! To be honest they don't feel too far off from OEM, The best part IMO is the carbon look of them...ohh and believe me ill keep tweaking her more I'm sure...
VDUC, your bike looks awesome as well! How do you like the skid plate? Ive been thinking about one myself...

Djauma.. Nice bike. I've got a complete freebie mod you can do which will change the rear of your hyper with 2-1 exhaust and make it look evil. Disassemble that entire plastic nostril license plate extension bit... Then, attach your plate to bracket where exhaust support is, fold up wiring for license plate light and have it come down in front of license plate. Cost $0/cutting zero/some light screw-driver-in' is all that's required. Post pics when you're done... Totally cleans up your tail and makes your tire look bigger

I've seen a few plates located there but a lot of them were hitting the rear tire, plus the holes in the plate don't align with the bracket under the tail. Maybe we are thinking of two different setups? Can u post a pic of what your exactly talking about? I'm definetly interested....thx!

very sweet looking bike! nicely done.
seems like you've upgraded your handlebar and removed the stock handguards altogether. did you find the new bar has sufficient room for the controls + handguards? which bars are those?
quite a few hym owners are in the military it seems. i wonder why.

nice machine and nicely modified. What do you think of the bar end mirrors. Do they vibrate less that the stock?

Vroom, I replied to your PM. the new bars had more than enough room for all the controls. They are made by DRIVEN, they are their mx high rise bars.

Darsey, I have not had it up to any highway speeds yet but they appear to vibrate way less, the only downfall is they are a bit smaller than OEM however I love the look of them
