I always run 5 miles slower than what is on the speedo when I pass radar posts. and my GPS shows the same thing, five miles off. I have a 14t on my PP, so that probably screws with it a little?

I was thinking a little more than 5 mph on mine. My hyper also has speed sensor on the wheel so any gearing ( sprocket changes ) shouldn't matter .

I think it had an 8% correction margin, just to avoid legal issues.

Ducati rates these speedos at +/- 7%. So like most motorcycles, the faster you go the less accurate it is. You want accurate, get a GPS or a BMW R1200RT.

My Hyper and Multistrada are both off 6 mph and there's no way to recalibrate it.
