well pleased

well i went for a spin today for about 90 miles and i am really impressed with this new hyper. There is a lot more power than the last one i had and i have no complaints. I think that i will be keeping this bike for a long long time. No wind turbulance, just lots of fresh air. old bike

Very nice ride Darsey. You are the rider I want to talk to.

I have a 08 1100 and I see you had a 09. I've been sniffing around the new Hyper and would like an informed opinion. Is there enough improvement with the new bike to justify the huge chunk of change it would take to step up to a 12?

I realize you JUST got it but I would really like your opinion. If you still had your 09 would you have been happy with this purchase?

Thanks

well i would say that the biggest regret that i have regarding bikes is that i sold my 2009 hyper 1100. If i could wind the clock back i would definalty have kept it. I would have saved a lot of money because i changed it to a 796 monster which i hated because of the hard suspension and only had it for three weeks, i then changed it to a triumph tiger 800xc which was a really first class bike, but once you have been smitted with a hyper, I don't think that any other bike will give you the contentment that it does. Now that i have this machine, there is definatley a good improvement, the seat is even a lot comfortable, i like the colour scheme, the bike is a bit higher which i like, the torgue is improved in that the front wheel is harder to keep down and if you are asking the question would i change the 2009 to the 2012, the answer is no. simply because of the money it cost me to get me to where i am. On the other hand if you were getting a fair deal the answer is a definate yes all the way. You see my wife was the one who done the deal for me and what a surprise that was on Christmas morning.

Many thanks, looks like I'll keep the 08 till the wheels fall off. On the days I need more madness than it can provide I can take out the 916.

Sounds like you have the second best wife in the world (mine being #1). Enjoy the wife and the bike.
