Gilly

I don't know how much some of you guys and gals get out of the Hyper Forum, so I thought I would just post up a little info about our friend Gilly. Gilly owns several bikes to include a Hypermotard (Trying to keep the mods from bumping this thread to another forum).

Gilly was in a serious accident where a woman in an SUV turned left in front of him. He has several severe injuries to include the loss of his left leg from just above the knee.

There was a fund set up for the guys that go to the East Coast Ducati.ms Meet to help some that can't really afford the trip. It was a bit of an obscure little charity drive that was set-up and funded by the east coast locals mainly. Well, they have all decided to turn it into a charity drive to help Gilly in his time of need. All we ask is that you give what you can, if you can, for a fellow rider and Ducatisti. Gilly has always been there for all of us and we are all just trying to be there for him.

This is the link to the PayPal fund for the donation.

See the link below for thread that started this little drive and the subsequent posts that turned it into a fundraiser for Gilly.

Thanks for reading,

Dave thanks for the info. I'll be keeping him in my thoughts and prayers as I ride around Oahu on my rental. Have a very sinking feeling in my gut. I hate when others stupidity causes a good guy to put a bike down.
@ Gilly- Hope You heal up quick and bounce back the best you can. Praying for good health and a speedy recovery for you.

This sux not the news I wanted to read before I take off on a strange bike (rental bmw) in a strange place (Oahu Hi)

Thanks Scott.

Apparently I am suffering from Metalhead-itis.
