Ideal AFR
So I have my PCV and autotune install and I am just waiting for my ECU to come in so I can ride this bad boy. What do you guys this would be the perfect AFR to set the auto tune at. I also have to take in consideration cruising AFR. Any advice?

They say the best value is the stoichiometric value of 14,7:1. I however find that going a bit richer, lets say 0,95 lambda which is almost 14:1, or even 13,7:1 makes the bike a bit more manageable.

There is no one best afr. Cruising with no load is way different than being at wot. Autotune only allows you to set one target afr?

Yeah, but there is no such thing as a perfect AFR unless you tuning strickly for emissions. You should take it to your local dyno tuner and ask them... While the Autotune sounds like a good idea in theory, it really isn't a good method for power tuning. You need a dyno that is able to apply load to hold the engine rpm at the set points while the throttle is also held at the set points to allow sufficient time for the wideband and PC to sync up target/actual AFR.
All said, unless you have flashed your ECU to allow closed loop tuning, there is nothing you can do below ~20% throttle and 4k rpms even with the race version PC-V.
If you don't have a dyno option nearby, then set the < 70% TPS/RPM tables to ~13.4 and those > to ~13.2 and you will be fairly pleased with the result, but it will NOT be optimum for max power.

No...above 4k and 20% throttle the Autotune corrects the a/f ratio to what Dynojet already knows what works best at any rpm. It's based off a map. You can change the taget a/f if you like. There are at least 10 different a/f ratios throught the RPM range that the Autotune adjust to...while you ride.

According to dynojet and the dyno guy the hyper is best at 13.2 AFR. i tried 13.7 for a while but after checking my spark plugs I realized it was pretty lean. So I dropped it down to a flat 13.2 and the plugs are a perfect light brown. It also feels a little smoother which no change in power.
