baffle/silencer in termi 2into1 exhaust
is there a baffle in this thing i should (want) to be taking out? I'm taking delivery of my bike soon and i figured it's coming with a silencer/baffle that will surpress the noise..
insight into this appreciated.

They do make a db killer that slips in the end & is held in with a single bolt. I bought mine used & never got the Baffle. If you take yours out & would like to sell it, please contact me?

suggest NOT running the baffle insert on the carbon fiber termi 2-1 slip-on.
too much back pressure is created from the baffle, and it will increases the internal temp in the slip-on. this can/will cause the carbon fiber to heat stress and discolor ... and if left long enough, will cause the slip-on to burn through.
i have seen this happen on a few, so it's not urban legend.

WOOF! i have the full system I'm sure i'll remove it right away I just wasn't sure if the exhaust came with one but assumed it did

you might get lucky and not experience any issues with running the baffle ... but why take the chance? besides, the bike sounds sooooo much better un-baffled.

I'm STILL interested in buying a straight Termi baffle, if anyone has one they'd like to get rid of?!

havne't forgotten about you, bruddah.. i prob won't sell mine just for the sake of resale down the road or something.. i'm crazy about keeping parts for some reason. if i change my mind you'll be the first one i contact..
