Paddock Stands
Why are these so damned expensive for HMs...? you can buy a normal paddock stand for about £30 (ok made of cheese..but...) HM paddock stands are double the price..with another 10 quid bunged on top for "shipping"
anyone know of any cheaper options in the UK?

Check eBay. I picked up a very well made stand from Poland, almost exactly like a Pit Bull Stand, for $40. American!

Really? Which ebay?
I picked up an original FG Guibellini stand for 50 euro's 2nd hand, pretty cheap. But yeah, they are very, very expensive compared to regular paddock stands.

i made a couple of brackets for the ordinary stand and after i slid a bar through the axle it works just the same as the other. It didn't cost any thing as i already had a micron stand for the other bikes that i had

yea +1 with decreasing dave there. Getting the wheel off is another problem, but i had my last hyper for two and a half years and never needed to take the wheel off. I plan to make a lift so that i can have front and back wheels off the ground at the one time for cleaning purposes
