2010 evo sp paint code for white?
Does anyone know where I can get a paint code for the white on my evo sp? The dealer listed the color scheme as corse white but I cant seem to find a paint code.
I tried color rite but they dont even list the evo sp for 2010? I looked in my manual and it states the color as streetfighter pearl white but the pearl white I have seen on the streetfighters is a metallic so i know this is not the color.
Any info would be greatly appreciated, getting a tail section done but it wont be painted locally so I want to make sure they have all the correct info.
Thanks

Download the parts catalogue from the Duc website. Page 4
The colour name and PPG code. The problem is, most paint shops don't have these codes. Well not in Mexico anyway.
RED "Rosso Anniversary DUCATI" (PPG) 473.101
WHITE "Bianco Perla" (PPG) 490.019
CLEAR "Trasparente" (PPG) 228.880
For some reason it doesn't have the code for black. I'm not a painter so I guess black is black

I sent a email to Ducati and they say the paint code is in the owner's manual.
They also suggested to check on colorrite.com in case the paint isn't available in the US.
Here you'll find most of Ducati's paint Here

I ended up taking a panel down to my local shop and got it scanned for a paint match on the white and it came back with ppg code 90288. The computer scales the match with a rating system of 0-10, 0 being a perfect match and ppg 90288 comes back with a rating of 1 which is almost perfect. One thing though is I have seen the paint that the manual lists as the correct white and it is not even close, the color listed in the manual is a metallic pearl white. I also went on color rites website and the white for a 2010 evo sp is not even listed. Anyways I think I'm going to go with the computer generated ppg code. Ill post pics when the tail piece is done and mounted with the new exhaust.

I have had perfect success generating a match using PPG Basecoat White DMD663, untinted, with HOK Alabaster White pearl in HOK UFC35 clearcoat. I had best results using a factory painted part and applying the paint with that part in full view. It's easy to go over/under with the pearl coat, so checking your results as you go is very important.
Good Luck!

Hey Jenner, did you ever paint your tail piece? I was wondering how the white ppg code 90288 color matched.
