Cams now that DP is gone...

Any other options out there other than NCR? I already have the termi kit, and am planning on the pcv, so don't really need another ecu...

I warned everybody it was coming. I think AMS has a couple sets left, but Ive thought about having the dp cams copied by a cam maker.

Not that I'm aware of, only know the DP & NCR ones.

If there is any Forum members that have the DP performance cams sitting around please send to me (to borrow for a couple weeks) & I can see if I can make a stock set of cams to the DP spec. Aloha Alex

I have a set, sitting in a box.

Aren't the Evo cams the DP Spec? I thought that was one of the "Evo upgrades" over the original Hyper. That would explain why they would stop production of the "special" cams.....

I have read posts here that the EVO comes with a higher lift cam. Does anyone know how it compares to the DP? If it is close it would be available.

I have heard it both ways, some saying the EVO's have the the DP cams already, then again some say they are not, what I do know is that they have different part numbers.

I also seem to see that a lot more 08-09 modded with DP cams (porting, pistons, valves, etc.) make more HP than similer modded 010-011 Hypers but without the cams. So maybe it is the cams that make the difference.

I also heard that the Hyper could not meet the Euro emissions with the DP performance cams. Aloha Alex
