EVO Airblox removal
OK, I'm pretty handy guy and have worked on turbine engines for 30+ years and built over 5,000 boats from nothing more than a set of drawings but I can't, for the life of me, get the damn airbox off of my 2010 EVO. The allen bolt on the left side cannot be reached no matter what combination of tools I use. Has anyone actually removed their own airbox? Can you please throw me a bone here? It's 1:00 AM and I'm trying to install my Ducshop stacks and I'm truly having a heck of a time. I've searched every combination of airbox in this forum and the net and can't find any useful tips. The tidy tail and cat eliminator took less than an hour combined and I've spent almost an hour trying to remove one bolt. HELP PLEASE!
Thanks in advance for any useful tips, time for a drink or two...

If its the bolt I'm thinking of, its not a bolt at all, its a post pushed thru a rubber grommet, you do not have to remove it, just lift up on the airbox & it should pull off. Hope this helps. Aloha Alex

OMG, thank you. I just read your previous reply regarding another airbox question and saw the rear two were push-ins. I pulled the airbox off in 5 minutes. Thanks a million!!!!!!

Took the bike out this morning, what a difference. I haven't received my pipes yet so I ran it with just the Ducshop stacks and the LV cat eliminator. So much smoother, feels like a very good increase in power. I won't add the PCV until the replace the exhaust (LV EVOIII), I am very impressed with this mod. Thanks again for your help. Have a very Happy New Year.
