Termi exhaust for new 796

I'm looking at this termi exhaust mod with the ecu and I'm trying to find out just how much more power this $1600 mod will produce. I have a new 796 with just 500 miles on her . I'm thinking for this much $$$ it must be a huge difference . Thanks in advance and merry Christmas everyone

For me it was all about the SOUND 1st, Look 2nd, Performance 3rd.

Mine were on from the day I picked the bike up, so no idea on the power increase.

IMO...Without the catalytic converter removed, you really aren't going to see much of a difference in sound or power.

Is that even an option in the DP catalog for the 796?

A friend of mine rode a 796 Hyper with the full Termi exhaust, and he said the power difference was huge.

You get around 5-6 rwhp just by removing the cat and modding the airbox.
Not sure how much just the termis and ecu does as mine was broken in with it installed
But the difference between termis with cat .vs termis without cat is like day and night.
But be prepared to have it remapped also, they tend to run very lean without the cat, especially if you open up the airbox (or change to the airbox lid that comes with the Termi kit).

I got some EU dyno diagrams of my bike somewhere in these forums, got Bazzaz kit installed now too, not had it dynoed after that though, but that also made the bike a lot meaner.

All that and the smaller front sprocket really made it come to life, it wheelies my fat 236lbs behind without any questions

Edit: Oh and btw I have the termi slipons + Leo Vince cat delete instead of full termi as I like the looks of the dual underseat termis better, looks terrible with that big ass can on one side

yeah ridiculous:
$1,975 for slip-ons + $1,357 for the manifolds = $3,332

That's 30% of the price of the brand new HM796

Does anyone know if the ECU that comes with the slip-ons is the same as the one that comes with the manifold pipes or is it a different map?
