1st service shock

Ok tell me if you think I got f*ucked without being kissed or what, I just had my 796's 600+ mile service here at my local Ducati dealer and the bill was $330 and change!!

Ouch! I was not expecting it to be that much, I was expecting maybe $220-260 (since everthing Ducati is expensive)but.............

Am i just being un-realistic?

What have others paid for the first 'break in' service?

I will do my own oil changes till the 7500 mile wrench comes on, thats for sure!

So what does the 7500 mile service cost? I've seen the lists and the 600 was tiny in comparison. I also Paid 300+ for the 600 mile on my 1100. I'm only 700 miles shy of my 7500 miler and want to know what the expense will be so I can start saving now.

My local dealer in Yorktown , Va charges $210 for oil/filter change , reset tps, chain lube and re-adjust, Retorque's all axles, triple clamps, etc !!!!!!. How often are oil changes? Thought manual said every 7500 but that seems to far apart

330 is cheap, my dealer is somewhere around 550.
Shop around, I remember calling a NJ dealer and quoted me 150.

If they did all that was supposed to be done , that is ball park about right...
Now you have got peace of mind , Didn't screw anything up ,have to deal with the used oil, no blood or scraped nuckles, and your warantee is good to go, if anythings happens they were supposed to catch it...

You should still go over the fasteners regularly ... Mirrors etc anything...
