DDM, HID lighting kit

OK, I just received my DDM, HID kit. A total of $40. bucks and a Lifetime Warrantee!
Monday I'll document the install in my '08 Tard 1100-S.
This is what it consists of, Bulb, starter, ballast & wire harness. The wire harness doubles as a harnes for cars, or twin bulbs, so it has two different length hook ups, convienent, because you can use which ever suits your install better.
But, DO NOT cut the unused portions, or it will void your warrantee (I just called the manufacturer). Very easy to wire-tie up the unused end and lose it!
Notice how small the ballast is. I plan on losing the whole mess inside the front fender.

I have the same or similar and have been happy with it for the past 2 years. I cut off the extra wiring since there was so much of it.

You void the warrantee, but as I have another installed on my Monster for two years, with no trouble at all, I don't see as to where it would be a problem. Plus, at only $40. bucks, what the hell! You can always just buy another. Then you'd also have an extra intact harness for any future warrantee problems!

That's the same set-up that I have and I tucked mine into the front fender as well. I couldn't put the Hi/Low switcher thingy (technical term) in the fender but that tucked neatly into the frame, even with all the wires.

I love mine and I actually owe Vrooooom a pic of the light spread, I just remembered.

Based on the one I have installed in my S4RS, I went with the 35W 6000K Temp. The strength and color are excellent, without being too blue and more light than a military flare!
