I strayed for a while...

...but now I have returned to the fold, because of the Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO!

Picked it up 20 minutes ago, brand new zero kilometres. Straight swap for the Harley.

Satan Claws came early!

And the custom plate ready for mounting, you can see I've been lucky enough to maintain a theme with my car plates:

I've had two Harleys and a Buell. They all shifted like a Peterbilt, shed parts like a cat sheds hair and were overall the biggest pieces of trash I've riden in my 45 years of riding, racing & wrenching.

It's nice to be back on something that actually stops and goes like a motorcycle should.

Parole officer once a week.

If I was prepared to continue pouring money into it I could have had the Deuce going and stopping really well but still nothing like the Hyper. Luckily I'm smart enough to know when to cut my losses!

That's sort of like what I tell my brother who rides a H-D Road King, I'd like one but I prefer motorcycles that actually, go, turn and stop.

Welcome back

My Buell had 1204 cc's, a race ECU, D&D exhaust, Open K&N airbox and Dynoed at 72 HP. My S4RS has 998 cc's and Dynoed at 130 HP!

Harleys are nice possesions, but not the most exciting bikes to ride. That was a nice Deuce you had. Pretty to look at, but not a lot of fun. Ducatis are both, nice possesions, *and* a lot of fun to ride. Nice bike, congrats.

All I can say is "Good Trade"! You definitely traded up! Welcome back to the light, and away from the darkside.
