Hyper Exhaust
Did some looking around in the thread and saw some threads on the Termignoni exhaust slip ons, but I was wondering what other exhaust do you guys have?
I've seen Leo Vince, Arrow, Zard, Remus and SC Project. I love the look of the Termignoni but right now its a little out of my price range. I also like the look of the SC Project and is more in my price range, but has anyone had any issues just doing slip on exhaust and no ECU upgrades? I really don't want to spend the money if I dont have to.
If the question comes up I am more of a daily driver and commuter than a track person.
All help would be appreciaited.
Thanks!

The SC systems are pretty darn nice from what I've seen. Couple of the guys on here including myself have cobbled together our own systems with some success. Here's mine with a GSXR-1000 Yoshi CF can. Pretty easy to do and sounds good, IMHO. I've since put CF tank panels, beak and tank cover on it so it looks a little better now.
I'm running a FATDUC O2 fooler, seems to work fine, haven't done any dyno work but the last trip to the track she pulled great and runs fine around town.

oh nice... that looks pretty good. Maybe that is something to consider when looking for an exhaust now.
I think if I don't come up with something I will probably end up with the SC Project

Steve, that's one of the nicest 2-1s I've seen. clean as shit and racy. gsjc.., I've done the full Termi 2-1-2 w/ the ecu and the duc shop stacks. In my opinion, the cans & race manifolds sound decent. I got a great deal on mine. I'd consider other setup based on searching here. Lots of info by searching as people have run the gamete on the different offerings and set ups. The one bit of info I can provide is on the stacks. They do seemingly help with providing more air to a full system and allowing for the rear cylinder to run cooler, but they are rather loud.... not to sound old, but I find the noise they make while drawing much, much louder than stock. Again, they work well, but I was a bit taken back by just how loud they were over the stock box. I hope some of this was a help and make sure you search it up.

I've got a full Termi 2-1 that I cut about 5 inches off. Very happy with the results!

Thanks, it was pretty easy to do, just had to have a local muffler shop expand the cut off midpipe so it's OD fit the ID of the GSXR can intake. I plan on doing a dual system like the SC at some point. Maybe this winter. I visited the guys at the Duc Shop near Atlanta, nicely made bits and pieces but the intake noise kind of made me shy away. Who knows may reconsider it I get serious about making some HP one of these days.
