White fluid in oil level window.

So I was about to do my oil change before putting my bike away and noticed this white stuff on the inside of the oil level window. I did the oil change and it went away for the most part but there is a slight bit or residue. I have no clue what it is any ideas?

Well, Tards aren't water cooled, so it has nothing to do with that. My guess is, you do a lot of short trips on the bike, heating it up enough to create condensation, but not letting it get hot enough to evaporate all the moisture out of it. Probably nothing to really worry about, but try and let it keep running until it reaches proper operating temps.

I made 3 or 4 short rides in the two days before I did the oil change. You might be on to something.

Cold damp Toronto weather ,
You have to get it hotter than you are getting it , keep the revs up and let it idle for a bit when you get home , Cover your oil cooler , you really don't need it in the cold weather . I used some silicone impregnated Fiberglas mesh (kinda like muffler wrap) to keep the wind out , as there is no oil thermostat

Some people have said to loosen the oil filer cap after your ride to let the water vapour escape , Just set it on top of the filler hole , but make sure to put it back on after it has cooled down !!! DUH??
