Changing bars to mx fatbars problem

Has anyone had a problem swaping on plain ol mx fatbars? I just tried to put some fly aero bars on the bike and they don't really sit in the clamps very well. What gives are the stock bars a odd ball size?

I tried Magura SX 28.6mm and Pro Taper bars, also 28.6. Those fit well. But thatīs on a 2008 1100, the 796 has a different handle bar. I believe the clamp diameter is smaller.

I got it to fit it was a bit of a thick powder coat issue I think.

I too fitted on the oversized 28.6mm Kermaxx carbon MX bars and it was a direct fit to my 1100S.
