Oil change, how do you get to the screen with the exhaust in the way?
Hey guys was wondering if you have to remove the header to get the the oil screen or do u use a special tool to get to it?

the special tool is called labor. you will need to remove the front header pipe to get it out!!

This is done on every oil change? Wow!

Just remove the 2 front header flange nuts and then tip the header down.It's designed to pivot easily.I check my oil screens once a year.Not every oil change.

Bugs, little animals, BMWs...
Seriously, metal particles and other debris that managed to find its way into the oil sump. It´s worth cleaning it.

once every 3 oil changes will work for ya....every oil change is a overkill
