Can't get centered!
In the process of assembling the LV exhaust with cat elim, but I can't get the pipes to line up or be centered on the bike! I made sure all the pipes were fully linked...all hardware installed easily and the bracket holding the two pipes is perpendicular to the frame (as it should be)...went back through and loosened everything and I'm still not getting it.
Any suggestions or experience with this issue?

I know this really isn't helpful but I'd forward those pics to whatever place sold you those cans and tell them you want replacements. Almost looks like a manufacturing screw-up to me.

I had the same issue when installing mine. Loosen everything up again and use more force moving the cans. The biggest problem i had was with the bottom mounting brackets that attach to the bottom part of the side body panels. Try reversing the brackets or giving them a little more bend.

rubber mallet is your friend. from what i see you need to oblong those holes in the bracket to allow more movement with the cans. if you fuck with it long enough you will figure it out.

I'm feeling like I shouldn't have to modify brackets & hit a new exhaust to get it to fit properly.
I'll be calling the store I ordered it from tomorrow to at least get their opinion on where I should go next.

I had the same problem. Got them real close, not perfect, plus the side covers fit really tight.
Also you cant use the stock mud flap between the cans and subframe Never was totally happy with them.
Too quiet and high pitched with inserts and too loud without.
Put stock back on and modified to my satisfaction.
Sorry. I know thats not helpful but it needed to be said

I also had the LV's with the cat eliminator, & now have the LV's with the full Bursi Evolution race header, both ways fit well, so I would fit it all up again loose, (no springs) and push/pull or tap with a rubber hammer (no big deal) to see if the system will go into place, and start to tighten things one at a time, a little bit of bending/forceing sometimes is required, but won't hurt anything, we are talking about "aftermarket" after all. Good luck. Aloha Alex

I dont know what everyone else did, but I noticed that you still have the rubber washer for the main middle bolt. I didnt use the rubber washer and mounted it metal to metal.

You know he's right, its supposed to be a solid mount in the center of the mounting bracket, there is a special machined aluminum spacer for this, that should help hold things in place. Aloha Alex
