Random acceleration while riding.
I have a bit of a problem here. My hyper recently developed a condition where the engine is accelerating quickly (and sticking at high RPM's) without any movement of the throttle or cables(verified).
It happens while it is in gear and in neutral. It will jump back and fourth, sometimes staying at over 5000 rpm and there is nothing I can do about it in the middle of traffic. Needless to say it kind of puts me in a dangerous situation.
My guess is that it is electrical but besides a quick run-though of the wiring and relays, Im not sure where to go from here.... besides the Duc dealership.
chip? relay? any help is greatly appreciated.
