I tried searching the forum before posting but WoW, the search engine is pretty lame. Nothing came up searching on ASV and searching on ASV Lever returned every post with the word lever. Searching on ASV AND Lever did the same.
So, a new post.
I bought an ASV C/5 clutch lever for a Ducati. It definitely fits the Brembo master cylinder but not the hand guards. So here is what I did.
Removed the master cyclinder and pulled the pin out of the handle bar.
Slid the master cylinder toward the speedometer 3/8" or so.
Took the 5mm x 12 screw out of the hand guard
Turned up a .696" OD x .484" ID x .585" spacer out of aluminum
Bought a 5mm x 30 socket head cap screw (SHCS) from Lowes (Home Depot didn't have any metric SHCS.)
Inserted the spacer, used the 30mm screw to tighten it up.
It didn't seem to stress the hand guard to space it out .585" and I didn't have to leave the wire cover off this way.
If you don't have access to a lathe McMaster.com has a spacer that I think will work. It's 5/8 OD by 9/16 long aluminum part number 92510A185. For the the price I would order the 3/4"OD by 9/16" spacer also just to see which one looks better. McMaster also has the metric hardware. An 18/8 stainless screw is P/N 91292A192. It's $6.35 for a 50 pack. They also have black steel screws.
McMaster-Carr
In the photos that is a 4mm Allen wrench for scale. I plan to have the ones I made anodized black so that it blends in.
I really like the lever. Unlike the CRG's it uses a thread shaft and collar so it has very fine adjustment over a long range. Now for the brake side!
