Do you guys have this part?
I bought my hyper used (although the odo only says 42kms) and i felt my saddle seems kinda rattle-ly when on bumpy areas. when I removed my seat i found it's basically being held by the 2 slots in front and the M5 bolt in the back plus the 2 rubber pads that the saddle sits unto and that's it. I was just looking online today and saw this "bracket" that I don't see on mine. do you guys have this part 14 and what does it do? i don't have the 6, 21, 13, 20, 5 also. do i need those?

That's what is commonly referred to as the tank strap. "Straps" the gas tank to the frame.

Yep, I have all that stuff and it sounds like an important piece.

#14 is the bracket over the tank, serves 2 purpouses.
Straps the tank down obviously
Mount for the #6 rubbers so your seat wont be in contact with the bracket
#21 is obviously needed to mount that bracket.
#22, you dont mention it, but is also important.
It's a rubber protection for the electrical harness that runs on top of the tank.
#13, #20 and #5, you must have it. This is the bolt + rubber + clip setup that hold the top left and top right mounting point of the subframe on the frame.
People with 1100 and who took their subframe appart must know that stupid clip...
I beleive the 796 as a different setup there, without the clip.

sh*t! no way! i gotta confirm this again tomorrow and myb post a real photo this time around. i'm going to call the seller if he still got these pieces. i even brought the bike over to the original dealer that sold it to him, prior to buying it, for some checking and they did all the "checking/tightening" and charged me $60.
thanks guys for the quick reply. i'm assuming it doesn't matter that i have a 796 coz i'm sure all bike will need something to hold the gas tank down.

I wouldn't be too upset with your dealer. For $60 I doubt they pulled any body parts to check things over. That bracket would have been R&R'd if the PO installed a big tank. Also, that bracket has caused some wiring issues on the big tank conversions so either way, once in place make sure it is well insulated with no sharp edges where any wiring could come in touch with it.

#21 takes about 2 months to get in from Italy. At least it did when I ordered one. Good luck.

Post some pictures to make sure.
Remember when I thought my new 796 was missing the oxygen sensors? Well I was looking in the wrong place!
I'll compare your photos with my 796.

I know Ducati can be slow when delivering OEM parts.
I now by all my OEM stuff from store.commoto, they usually have lots of stuff in stock.
But why on earth would you bother to wait 2 monthes for 4 metric bolts ???
Just go to any hardware srtore.

here's the photo i took this morning. definitely missing a lot here eh? is it possible that those were removed to lower the saddle down?
does anyone know if this is already the large tank? pretty dirty eh.... especially when i ride in the rain. can't believe how much dirt accumulates up there.
