Hyper throttle is pretty hyper
Ok gang gots a question for ya..I just got my hyper and it has a bunch of go fast goodness done to her. DP Cams, full 2-1 Termis, DP ecu, open airbox, and a lightened flywheel. The throttle on this beast is Damn near dangerous on how abrupt it comes on and goes off. What I am wondering is, could the flywheel be the culprit? Could the ecu be reflashed?
Thanks guys for any help.

Pretty much all of the above.
Generally anything you do to increase power is going to detract from ridability. Why did you do all that, are you going racing?

The "throw" can be fixed by paying attention to the throttle tube's cam on your current piece; assess the shapeliness. Think "progressive cam profiling". You may modify a tad by dremel... conversely there are plenty of companies who will take Your monies. Motion Pro has a kit. G2 Ergonomics...
I personally chose a Yamaha R6 tube to attain the wider profile under half-throttle, yet a shorter throw than oem. Basically, once I reach half throttle and beyond, the throw is more abupt, as it should be. Now I may savor the twist in early gear, and twist heartily after half throttle.

My S has those mods plus velocity stacks. I don't see the throttle being super sensitive. It can be nuts if I so desire, but that's controlled by the right wrist, clutch action and gear selection. I'm not sure what your question is?

Reset the throttle position sensor, let the dealer adjust your bike´s CO and see how you go from there.

I had the same issue. Just adjusted the fuel trim(CO) and synched the throttle bodies and now its perfect.

throttle is definately hypeer
i am not a fan of the throttle response at all on my hyper!! a while back i was gonna look into a fix or something to at least make it not so jerky at low neighborhood type speeds. any one with a success story on that..

Maybe it's your hand. I got a substantially upgraded piece from an evil M.D. in Belgium; Bolted right up.
