evo sp throttle tube

So I ordered the Dan Kyle throttle tube for my 2010 evo sp and it does not work. From what I understand the 08 throttle is a double cable and mine has a single cable. Anyone know of another option as far as throttle tubes go?

I installed this cam and it couldn't have been easier. It took all of a minute and it works. Maybe something to consider.

Electraeon Fast Throttle Cam for Ducati motorcycles.

Thanks, but I think that would only make the on/off throttle I have now only worse.

Which bike year did you install the cam on?

You don't need to spend a lot of money to have a progressive throw. Many pre-Evo Hyper owners discovered the '05 Yamaha R6 tube, and called it güd. I am one of them.

For an Evo owner to attain similar results, seek which Jap 600 runs mono-throttle cable and go from there... The Jap 600s will have good, progressive cam shapes on their throttles, large at first, smaller after half. I believe CBR600s run a single throttle cable...

Just curious as i have never used a quick throttle before.

Any disadvantages for using quick throttle? As compared to stock, will there be more stress and tension on the throttle cable?

still on topic???
