Tires for the hypermotard.
Hi, I understand that we run our tires front 120/70 and rear 180/55. What are the tire pressure for the tires for road and track? And have anyone run larger tires on their hypermotard, tire pressure for them also? Thanks!

Depends on the tire and your preference. I run pilot powers(regular) with 2,4 bar front and 2,7 in the rear. Bigger tires like a 190/50 or 190/55 will give you a smaller contact patch and a slower turn in. I've had them on my bike and they were just awful tbh.

Street tires at the track, start at 29-30 psi (cold) F/R, go from there. Aloha Alex

best bet is look up manufactures site for info
on dunlops Q2 for track they say 32f32r cold--street 34f36r
ntecs(best dot race tire made) 31f 21r cold
every tire is different.street ,like commuting you want higher to make the tire last longer but not to high.

Is the front usually a bit lower to better soak up the bumps?

Exact same for me and it has made a wonderful difference in the city. Was running battlax 016's on 32-ish psi before. Front and rear wear pattern looked as if pressure was OK but tire life was only 2500-3000 miles.
