Jihad, I'm sorry to hear about your bike. I hope you weren't on it at the time.

You haven't posted if you are OK or not? Are you?

Dave

I am OK, sorry for the suspence.... very hard busy week.
Thank you all for the replies.
I was not on the bike, it was parked... well this is what I have been told.. I don't beleive one bit of it but I'll have to stick to this story..... bike parked outside a shop and this small pickup lost his breaks in a downhill and hit my bike among other things, most probably it was staged so the insurance will pay and I don't sue the real responsible, I have no way of really knowing what happened .... so now I just want to fix my bike.. no damage to the frame, all replaceable parts.. but this is half the story......

Sorry to hear about the accident. You better check the forks also for damage. Looks like your bike got knocked pretty hard.

Yeah I had a hunch it was parked from the first photo.
Glad you weren't on it during the collision. Still sucks!

Ya' know, it didn't look like damage from a small pickup truck hitting or running over it.

I am assuming that it was at the shop and they called you to tell you that it had been "hit".

Looks like a "test ride" incident to me......

Either way it sucks. In the US, you would still have some financial recourse. I'm not even going to try to guess what you have to deal with over there or if it's even worth trying.

Dave

Exactly...... And I have to rely on the same honest people to fix my bike!
