Getting a hyper ready for a track day?
Hey guys im thinking about entering a couple track days. I would be in the beginner class, never been on a track before with a bike. What do you guys do to your hypers to get them ready as far as like with your headlight and tail lights, blinkers ext. to pass tech inspection?. Would i need to get number plates? What should i expect at a track day? This is all new to me so any tips or tricks would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance

depends on the track day organizer. around here, all you usually have to do for the beginner group is tape up your mirrors, lights and reflectors. if your bike is in solid enough shape to ride on the street, it should pass tech.

Raise up the rear, and if the track is sufficiently smooth just stiffen up the suspension a bit(assuming you don't have stock springs and oil), tape up mirrors and other glass parts(don't tape up your headlight, it will melt).

Just to fuck around at the track, remove the lights and the street stuff like handguards and mirrors as they´re very expensive to replace.
You should have a proper set of tyres. If you can afford them, get some sticky rubber of your fav manufacturer.
Once you get up to speed you need to get the stock footpegs and foot controls out of the way. You´ll destroy them dragging them.
But for your first track day, go there and have fun! Make sure the bike is in proper working order. You´ll see where problems will arise while you´re at it.
Check the trackday organiser´s rules for participation. Some require you to safety wire the fluid related bolts.

remove non-essentials like ben said. I also remove my passenger footpegs. I remove my lights all together to include my headlight. The less you have to replace if you crash the better.
It doesn't hurt to change the oil and filter before you go if you have a few thousand on. I agree with others about tires. Use something good with lotso of life. All you learn riding on worn tires is how to ride on worn tires.
